So I'm getting some of my edge back and realizing life isn't all granola.
It was deffinitely a BFD that I was at the Canyon show.
At least, by the few turned heads, peering stares, and totally obvious attempts to avoid every and all ammount of eye contact, I'm going to assume I wasn't welcome, or at the least, no one had any idea I would show up.
For the record, I was there to support your band, not to antagonize anyone. Just because we're on shitty terms doesn't mean I'm going to stop going to shows. Sorry if that's the impression you got. Yeah, I'm bitter. Who the hell wouldn't be not only after what you did to me, but what you've been saying about me. Those are things I don't appreciate at all.
But hey, life isn't granola.
I'm almost ready to accept that there will be haters, I can't get along with everyone, and some relationships are not worth their weight in gold.
Haters, please be real.
Talk to me.
Don't send someone else to do your dirty work.
Or insist on, you know, talking about me and then turning to look at me while I'm totally staring right at you. That was really, really cute.
I'd rather hear what you have to say than listen through the grapevine. Even a second-hand report is pretty much bullshit, because people edit or dramatize.
Anyways, This goes hand-in-hand with my new years resolution to get rid of enemies. I'm ready to talk when any of you are. Of course, this doesn't guarantee we'll work anything out, but at the least, we can put things to rest. Or at least, I can.
Peace.
